What to Sow When - Flower Seeds

What to Sow When - Month by Month Guide to Flower Seeds

Our guide gives a month to month overview of what flower seeds to sow. Where it states "indoors" next to the flower name this means that the seed should be sown undercover, for example in a greenhouse or on a windowsill. Refer to the seed packet for the exact conditions required but many of the seeds sown" indoors" will require you to provide a warm environment for germination. Where it states "outdoors" next to the flower name this means that you can sow the seed where you want the plants to grow and flower in the garden. (You can also plant the ones that state "outdoors" into rows and transplant them into their permanent positions when larger).
